Need A Little Trembling

You cannot have a relationship with God through another man any more than you can have a relationship with a wife through another man...

You cannot.

Stop deceiving yourself. Jesus died so you could come to a right relationship with God. He did it for you without cost or burden. Yet, you sit behind some man in a pulpit or TV show and hope you are good... because you think the man is.

WARNING, DANGER WILL ROBINSON!

Matthew 10:37

“Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

OK, truth be told, no one is worthy of Him. NO ONE.

Yet, because of His grace. His choice. You can be made worthy by proxy... accepted anyway.

Still, if He wants to be first, and you still put Him behind some preacher man... well, do you really have the grace to begin with?

It is a good question. One any "believer" should be asking.

Philippians 2:12

Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,

It does appear to be that serious.

Would you want you in your house, forever? Does your love show?

... or are you just doing what you think is necessary to be accepted?

if so, I can tell you truthfully, you are not going to make it.
