It Is Easy

It is generally rather easy to spot a goat in "Christian" circles. Goats, you see, have to be on top.

This works well for a bunch of goats together. They "compliment" each other while attempting to push each other off the highest nearby post. It appears fun to them.

They don't usually get offended as they believe no one else can see their scheming...even if they are not holding the highest spot.

They don't get ugly until challenged.

They look down on those they perceive to be at a lesser spot. Proud and high, they will be nice as pie, until someone "less" challenges them.

"How dare you!?"

"Who do you think you are!?"

"I already know that!"

"Who are you to tell me!?"

"Do you know who I am!?"

That is when they are exposing their heart, their nature...and their future.

For sheep, sheep don't care about the highest spot. They just graze around, always aware of the shepherd's position. Goats would call them weak. They must appear that way as their interests are so different.

Sheep are eternal.

Goats are not.

Maybe, being temporary, the little things matter more...

The funny thing is that sometimes, in big groups, it is not so easy to tell. That's because they both smell really bad.
