Acting Faithfully

Demons attacking you?

People attacking you?

You attacking you?

You know, you don't need to know their motive.

Nope. Not at all.

The only motive you need to know, is God's motive.

Why would HE be doing this?

"God doesn't use the devil to attack us!"

No? So, when Job got attacked by Satan, who did he have to get permission from?

Peter? Did the devil just do as he wanted? Didn't he have to ask to "sift" him?

Even if God was only aware of your attacks long before they happened, could He not have stopped them?

Unless... He wanted them to happen...

Your life is not your own.

It is His.

That means He alone gets to do what He wants.

Do you trust Him?

He said it over and over... "Just believe."

If you trust Him.

If you know He is in charge.

Then you will not respond to attacks poorly.

Whining

Fighting

Yelling

Insulting

Defending

Retaliating

You will trust God in the process.

You will act completely different from everyone around you... and it will freak them out.

You will act out your faith.

So, maybe God wants to show you off?

He did with Job.

[8] Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job?

Yes, yes, He did.
