All By Yourself
You must understand that both Heaven and Hell are not permanent. This is just another lie that has been taught by "Bible" teachers for many years.
"Who are you to argue with well-respected teachers and known Christian doctrine?"
Me, Ha! I am nobody in this world. But what I do have that most apparently don't is a greater trust in God's Word than in a man... no matter how fancy they seem.
Do you read the book?
Have you not read that Hell is thrown into the Lake of Fire?
It does say that. It IS a fact.
Revelation 20:11-14
Have you not read where it says that Heaven and Earth will be consumed in fire? Have you not read where God creates a new Heaven and Earth?
The great questions that remain are why do popular and highly respected teachers have it wrong? Oh, and why do most "believers" not see how off they really are?
Especially now, when scripture is so available... for free!
Is it laziness, blindness, or something even more terrifying?
Considering how these teachers and students supposedly scour the Book, I don't think it's laziness.
Blindness, yes.
But why is the terrifying part.
Truth is revealed by God alone. So, blindness is when He doesn't reveal it.
Truth, or the seeing and understanding of it is a byproduct of a relationship with God. Faith is the so named vehicle.
Truth is.
It is a path.
We all start with ignorance.
Is there even a God?
Then, who and what is God?
Is Jesus God or is it someone else?
Is the Bible true?
Is salvation by faith or works?
Is every Word accurate?
Should I trust what the guys who say they know the book, or read it myself?
Is God really sovereign?
Am I His?
What is He going to do next?
Yes, Truth is a path.
It IS the same path.
It IS the same Truth.
You can go off on a tangent, a lie at any point in this journey.
"Jesus isn't God, it is the Spaghetti Monster!"
I see people doing this more and more as we approach the End of Days.
From Free Will to Isreal hating, these tangents always seem to be accompanied by one thing... arrogance.
This is the trap, and the real reason why such obvious errors are not seen by the disciples of the wrong teachers.
"I follow Apollos!"
Paul has already addressed this, in The Book.
You think YOU know because you trust Pastor Dufus.
"But he wears a white suit!"
"No one can disagree with God's anointed!"
Actually, yes, they can... and should. At the very least we should ALL question whether they are anointed or not!
No, seemingly working miracles is not a guarantee, any more than a white suit is. Remember Peter Popov?
Do you still trust Jimmy Swaggart?
Just because they have not been exposed, doesn't mean they are not fakes.
This is why I trust men very little and don't get caught up into words they write, sermons they recorded, and videos they produce. To really know if they ARE anointed by God, and not just lost men, or servants of that other guy, you NEED to see how they treat others.
You can't tell that by watching a well-produced video, with dramatic music. You need to be able to see them interact with others who cannot help them.
"By their fruit you will know them"
Oh, there is another way. Are they teaching a lie? You know, something they say that is biblical, but in scripture, it is easy to prove them wrong.
Yes, the truth IS the same. If they can't see it... it is a problem.
Well, it should be, but then if you don't act like a Berean, how would YOU know?
You trust a man... not God.
You would then end up down a tangent, a lie, and because of your great excitement, you too are spreading this untruth.
Seriously, who needs a devil?
You are doing just great on your own!
