Be The Work

Life seems like such a struggle. You have trouble at home, trouble at work, and, for heaven's sake, trouble at church!

Life can be such a pain.

"It would all just work so much better if everyone just agreed with me!"

Of course it would. But, then you would just become a blind, ignorant fool, who knows nothing of God.

If, as scripture says is true, that God is sovereign, then everything, and I mean everything, that happens to you is orchestrated by Him... and for Him. He is making you into something more, something you cannot possibly fathom.

... if you are His child.

If you are not, you are simply a tool that He uses to cause trouble and false hope to His children so they can grow into that which is being made.

As His child, these "enemies" though they should be friends are there to mold and shape you. They help you seek Him so you trust Him in a very personal, very relational way.

It is part of the process.

This is biblical.

This is true.

So, if all trouble, all blessings, work together, by Him, to make you into something HE thinks is worthy of spending forever with... well, why are you fighting Him?

"Like a leaf in the wind"

Accept the change. Be the man God is crafting.

Trust Him.

No, it is not easy.

It is impossible.

Ah, but if you are really His work, He WILL complete it... even if He has to drag you along kicking and screaming.

It would just be a nicer ride to float along instead.
