Double Secret Predestination
Ugh, they've made this ridiculously complicated.
Predestination is a biblical fact. It is written over and over.
God, the Father, is outside of time and space. EVERYTHING is, was, and has been determined, written and laid out long before the universe started.
Jesus, the Lord, is God in time and space, an exact representation of the Father. Jesus is both the author and the Word of the story. HE is God who acts, reacts, moves and seems to change. He does this to be a perfect focal point to relate to man.
HE, like us, is a character in HIS story.
We do choose, within the story. Yet, that choice was written and determined long before the earth was made.
God chose. We just reflect that choice.
Yes, those who reject Christ were made, like Judas, to do exactly what they do.
This IS what scripture says.
It IS.
If you can't accept what scripture says, how are you ANY different than someone who believes Jesus is a super loving 60's hippy-like guy who will just accept everyone?
You are not.
Your comfort level is not required.
Your faith and trust in God, through Jesus Christ is.
