Hated

Yes, I am hated.

I am hated by a daughter who is caught up in a lifestyle that my views oppose.

I don't hate her.

I am hated by my brothers and sisters who despise who I voted for, that I didn't take a vaccine, and believe in a God who isn't the way they want Him to be.

I don't hate them.

I never did.

I never will.

My daughter broke my heart, and it still breaks, yet I trust God in the whole of it and always keep moving forward.

Hate doesn't slow me down.

I am hated by church people. They are offended at my perspective and unwillingness to just agree with them. I hold God as supreme and scripture as His word... not the popular men, and teaching that is so widely accepted.

I am willing to debate and discuss with anyone a different viewpoint, and no, I don't need to be right. I side with the One who defines right, and trust Him to correct me through anyone, even a pink haired lesbian lady, which if God spoke through, I would hear.

He is loud that way, and very clear to anyone who is His.

Sure, it hurts. However, when it does, I go to the One who made me and see how He sees me.

That is enough to stand up in the darkness of hatred.

Hatred, such a funny thing. Those who do so, think they are so justified and right.

The Holocaust didn't happen because of love and grace, no, it happened because of hatred.

Slavery didn't happen because of a wonderful idea to better the lives of men living less-than. It was hatred. Hating another human so much so that they would forcibly confine them to awful labor that no one wanted to do. Making less of someone, because of their knowledge and understanding.

So, haters, tell me how are you better?

You are not happier.

You are not more loving.

You are not more giving.

You also have a tendency toward rudeness, meanness, maliciousness and violence.

Do you really think you are one of the "Good Guys"?

Oh, and "church" people.

You prayed that "sinners" prayer.

You think you are a good guy now.

Yet you hate.

Yes, treating others as less than.

It is hatred.

Biblically

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

1 John 4:20

If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.

Matthew 25:40

40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

Yes, you don't like what those "types" of Christians say and do.

Ignore them.

Dismiss them.

Gossip about them to your "peers"

Exclude them.

Never invite them over.

Yes.

It is hatred.

You hate Him.

It is yours; you own it.
