Here Is Where You Can Grow

Consider for a minute, that as scripture is written, predestination is true, faith in God is a gift from God, and there is no reason you received it other than by God's grace, then doesn't it change this statement by Jesus from an accusation to a simple statement of fact?

Matthew 17:19-20

[19] Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, "Why couldn't we drive it out?"

[20] He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, `Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. "

So then, He is not pointing out their lack, but pointing out a place for them to seek God and grow.
