It is Favor

In Ephesians 2:8-9 it says that faith is a gift that God gives to those He has grace upon.

No, His grace does not fall upon everyone. If it did, Judas would never have done what he did. In fact, since faith is shown by what you do, no one would be openly doing evil anymore.

Grace is unmerited or undeserved favor.

Favor.

If you believe, it is only because God gave that faith to you. He alone gives eyes that see and ears that hear. He did it because He wanted to, not because you were better, smarter, or kinder.

So, yes, if your loved ones do not see or believe, then God has not given them the grace to believe.

That IS what it says.

Of course, like God's favor to you, if you love them, you will still tell them what you see and what you believe. You will also ask God to give them the grace to believe. You will do this because you favor them.

Hopefully, He does too.
