...Or Maybe
Do you really think God had to wait until John the Baptist was ready before Jesus could get His ministry started?
...Or maybe, God got him ready with perfect timing.
Do you really think God had to risk His whole plan of salvation on a possible negative choice from John?
"Yeah, no, I really don't want to live in the desert and eat locusts."
...Or maybe, God, in His sovereignty, chose and implemented His plan with John choosing as he was created to do.
Not a director, or choreographer, but an Author. We choose as He ordained, predetermined, and Authored us to do.
Consider all of the "choices" that God needed to happen to create a nation, raise and lower kings, and flow all choices throughout time in order to teach His children who He Is...
That is the biblical narrative. You either agree that the Bible is God's word, or you don't.
If you disagree with any part, ignore any passage, alter one single doctrine, you do not believe it is HIS word.
It would be supremely stupid to ignore, deny or change the Word of GOD. So, yeah, you obviously do not believe it is His word.
...Or maybe, you are supremely stupid.
