Powerless

You must realize that biblically, an idol, magic spells, curses (other than by God), are nothing.

Idols do not house demons, spells do not control demons, a man cannot, by his mere words, affect the outcome of a person's fortune.

"Do you really think you are that powerful?"

God said this to me once, many years ago, as, while praying, I became fearful that I allowed a demon into the room by thinking an evil, selfish thought.

Enough with the fear mongering pastors and "deliverance" ministry charlatans who keep telling us that we must learn to control, manipulate, or command demons and devils.

Not one of us is that powerful!

Do you REALLY think a non-corporeal being that has existed thousands of years is going to obey a foolish man who simply sacrifices a chicken and says a few words in Latin?

Can't you see that a demon, in doing so, has done nothing more than make that man believe he is powerful and doesn't need God?

God wants faith in Him.

Satan wants you to trust in you.

These are the only two directions for life.

So, if magic spells are truly a deceptive lie, then how much more so is being a "prayer warrior"?

Yeah, I know, I am evil for telling you this.

A witch would say the same thing.

Which of the two ways are you really headed then?

I don't figure the witch is trusting God.
