[30] At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.
The romantic idea that "soulmates" will get to spend eternity together is wrong.
Sorry, but gender is a physical and temporary thing, not spiritual.
It just isn't. God isn't going to change reality because you want it to be so.
Keep in mind, The Resurrection refers to the time when Jesus comes back, or as affectionately called "the rapture". Following this resurrection will be 1000 years of life on this earth.
Those resurrected, will not be married or get married.
Biblical truth is important. If you bend on the small things, you will bend on the big ones.
