Still Born?

John 3:3

[3] In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."

John 3:6

[6] Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

No one chose, decided, or figured out how to be born in the flesh.

No one chooses, decides, or figures out how to be born again.

John1:13

[13] children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

Born of God, by God.

It is a gift.

The gift is faith.

Faith offers grace and forgiveness.

Grace is how anyone is saved from eternal destruction.

The second death.

If you have the gift. You had nothing to do with it...not even the act of receiving it.

Receiving is a work.

If you believe that you got the grace of God because you chose to receive it, then scripture is clear.

You did not receive the gift, because it was never given.

Flesh gives birth only to flesh.

Only the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

Can you SEE the Kingdom of God?
