Talking to Miguel

I get it, as a socialist or communist, you believe that your government should be responsible for controlling the people. That you can trust them to do and maintain what is right. Yet, you are trusting men.

What men have you really seen that are worthy of that level of power over your lives? You do realize that once that power is given... it will never be given back to you without force?

As a man of God, I cannot give that kind of power to a man. Men are no better than me, and often worse. Why would I trust them to have that kind of power over me and my family?

I don't want to fight. I avoid it where I can. The best way for me to live peacefully is to never give that power over me, and mine, to men.

I trust God.

I know you think that is absurd and stupid but consider the trust you place in men.

I trust a being who has the ability, power, and perfectness to run me and mine. You trust men.

Which is a better option?

I get it. You don't believe in God. Still, there is a simple way to find out for sure... Ask Him.

If He IS, He can respond. Is that not true?

As always, keep in mind, if you ask with an attitude do not expect a response. Maybe try a little respect... and sincerity.

You are talking to the Author of ALL.

OK, so I got a really good laugh...

After I wrote this, and then added a title, I randomly looked up the meaning of the name of the author of Don Quixote. Miguel is a Spanish and Portuguese form of Michael, meaning "Who is like God."

Sometimes, when God opens your eyes to the depth of His hand within the story, the feeling creates a deep laugh at how cool He really, really is.
