The Knowledge of Good and Evil

There is this lie, a lie that acts like a massive wall separating many from a deep, real relationship with God.

It is the lie that God started the world and just watched how it ended up. That He never was in control of it. That enemies somehow fooled Him and took over. That you are responsible for it.

This lie, this wall, must be overcome or you will forever limit God, making Him smaller, in your heart and mind. It will be a massive relationship barrier between you and Him, no different than you believing a friend is someone they are not.

If you seek Him, you will find Him. That is what Jesus said.

However, if you are afraid to look, and make Him more comfortable, more fitting to your sensibilities, then you are not seeking Him as HE IS, but fashioning Him into something else. Something He isn't.

If you don't scale that wall and get to know Him, how can you ever know that He is good?

You must look at Him... not at the comfortable lie you have created of Him.

That version isn't good.

It is evil.
