What Good is it?

So what, if I believe that God is in control of everything?

What difference does it make?

Well, if God is in control, and He is good, and I know I am His...

Nothing happens to me that He is not directly in control of.

If it is bad, I know that it is meant for my good, and alI I need to do is trudge through it. Every event, every choice, every battle, has a good reason.

I know my mistakes, sins even, are part of His plan and purpose. I know these will work to my long term benefit.

I know my unhappiness is part of His plan. His promise is that it will be worth it after it is over.

I know that a bad day is temporary like my entire life on earth. I don't have to get caught up in dark thinking, and regret.

I know that all things work together for good... because I love Him.

That is what it says.

I also know it is true from experience.

Isn't that good?
