Zeal, Based on Knowledge

Romans 102-4

[2] For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge.

[3] Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness.

[4] Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

Your being good does not happen by your effort.

It does not. That is what it says in God's book.

All through it.

Being accepted as good, only happens when you trust God, who is in control...even of your choices.

Your own zeal.

Your own desire.

Your own excitement.

Your own effort.

Means nothing.

Righteousness comes from God. He gives it by grace to anyone He chooses.

If you believe, then He chose you.

Now you know.

Now, that's something to be zealous about!
